Health & Science Neighborhood

Welcome to the Health & Science Neighborhood at ´óÏó´«Ã½! Students in this neighborhood are explorers, driven by compassion and curiosity, as well as careful observers of the world around them.

During your first year at ´óÏó´«Ã½, you’ll live with other Health & Science students in the Spencer Residence Hall. You’ll also study and take classes together, and enjoy special activities tailored to your interests.

The Majors

The Health & Science Neighborhood majors share a focus on human health, biology, and scientific inquiry. They tend to attract students interested in research, improving health outcomes, and applying knowledge to real-world problems. Learn more below!

Interested in exploring another facet of Health & Science? Our minors can deepen understanding of your chosen discipline while providing a broader set of skills and tools.

Accelerated Bachelor’s to Graduate Degrees

Want to save time and money in earning a dual degree? ´óÏó´«Ã½’s Accelerated Pathways program lets you earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s or doctoral degree faster in the following subjects:

  • Healthcare Administration (BA+MHA, 5 years)
  • Occupational Therapy (BA/BS + OTD, 5.5 years)
  • Physical Therapy (BA/BS + DPT, 5.5 years)
  • Nursing (BSN + MSN Admin & Leadership, 2 years)

The Health and Science Neighborhood supports a student’s successful transition to college through engaging majors with research and real-life experiences embedded as learning tools. These academic experiences along with extra-curricular and social activities within the H&S Neighborhood make this a wonderful opportunity to grow amongst a group of like-minded peers.

Members of the Health & Science Neighborhood live together in the Spencer Residence Hall. Here’s what to expect:
