Here are the latest scholarly accomplishments from the School of Social Sciences, Business, and Global Studies.

	Bob Klonoski, assistant professor of business Presented a paper, “The Case for Case Studies: Deriving Theory from Evidence,” the International Academic Conference of the Clute Institute for Academic Research, January. The Journal of Business Case Studies has accepted it for publication.
	Daniel Metraux, professor of Asian Studies An essay, “Religion and Politics in Japan,” accepted by The Journal of Japanese Studies. An essay,��“Senator Stephen A. Douglas’ Very Modern Style Campaign Swing through the Valley in Early September 1860,” the 2012 issue of the Augusta History Bulletin, along with several book reviews.An article, “Jack London’s Sympathetic View of Korea and Koreans,” published in the 2012 Fall-Winter issue of The Call, The Magazine of the Jack London Society.
	Rhea Vance-Cheng, associate director of Civic and Global Engagement A chapter, “Security and Peacebuilding,” in the textbook Integrated Peacebuilding, Innovative Approaches to Transforming Conflict to which she contributed will be published in March, with ��co-authors Sam Feigenbaum and Rachel Goldberg.
